Weekly Vegetable Baskets

Good food starts in healthy soil. At Wish You Were Here Farm, we grow vegetables using organic practices that prioritize flavour, freshness, and nutrient density. When food is harvested close to home and picked at peak ripeness, you can taste the difference. We grow premium ingredients for our community — for families who value health and home cooks who care about quality.

Make it a Basket and a Bouquet

Add Farm-grown Flowers to Your Weekly Pickup

Members will have the option to include seasonal bouquets — farm-grown flowers that are fresher, more fragrant, and longer-lasting than most store-bought blooms. It’s an easy way to bring something beautiful home each week, alongside your vegetables.

What We’ll be Growing

Tulips, daffodils and iris in spring, plus seasonal bouquets through summer and fall featuring favourites like dahlias, ranunculus, lilies, sunflowers, lisianthus, and more.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are your vegetables organic?2026-05-06T22:03:58+00:00

We grow our vegetables using organic practices, and we’re in the process of becoming organically certified. We’ll share certification details as they’re finalized.

What is regenerative farming?2026-05-06T22:04:26+00:00

Regenerative farming is a way of growing food that restores the land instead of depleting it. By building healthier soil and supporting biodiversity, it helps create farms that are more resilient and naturally productive. For you, that means vegetables grown with care — fresher, more nutrient-dense, and full of flavour, from a farm that’s getting better each season.

What is your cancellation policy?2026-05-25T17:42:14+00:00

CSA memberships are seasonal commitments, and we plan our planting, harvesting, and staffing around the number of members.

A $50 cancellation fee applies to CSA cancellations. Installment members may cancel at the end of a paid installment period. Full-season prepaid members may cancel at the end of a month. Eligible remaining balances are issued as account credit, less the $50 cancellation fee and any applicable adjustments.

Account credits may be used toward future CSA payments or farm store/online store purchases and expire one year from the date issued.

What happens if crop yields vary?2026-05-06T22:10:28+00:00

Seasonal growing always has natural variation. We plan for resilience by growing a wide range of crops and planting succession harvests so your box stays consistent in size and variety over the season.

Is this a CSA?2026-05-19T16:16:03+00:00

Yes — it’s CSA-style. You get a weekly box of what’s in season, and your membership helps us plan, plant, and grow the best food we can.

Can I pause or skip a week?2026-05-27T16:32:25+00:00

Yes. CSA members receive two skips per season.

Skip requests must be submitted through your online account two days before that week’s pickup. When you use a skip, you can choose one of four options:

  1. Gift your basket to someone else.
  2. Request a double basket for another week.
  3. Request an alternate pickup day.
  4. Receive an account credit for the weekly basket value.
Can someone else pick up my box?2026-05-19T16:12:33+00:00

Yes — absolutely. Many members have a friend, neighbor, or family member pick up on their behalf.

What if I miss pickup?2026-05-25T17:44:15+00:00

Members are responsible for picking up their basket during their scheduled pickup window. However, we’ll hold your box for two days after pickup day.

Baskets that are not picked up are forfeited and are not eligible for credit. You may arrange for someone else to pick up your basket if you cannot make it. For planned absences, please use your skip options.

Do you accommodate dietary preferences?2026-05-27T16:33:15+00:00

We can’t customize boxes item-by-item, but we plant for variety and balance across the week. Members who pick up their baskets at the farm will have the option to swap out items from the farm stand.

What are pickup rules?2026-05-19T16:12:04+00:00

Pickup will be on your designated pickup day between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Be first to know what’s in season — and when we open.
